2 Steps to Unlock Productivity Now

Today I will share with you how you can unlock productivity and literally stretch your free time using just one life hack. Before we dive into this, let’s explore why on some days you can easily get much more done.

Even more frequently, we tend to fall out of our daily agenda. You may call it distraction, procrastination, or lack of focus. It may look like a root cause for the lack of productivity. In reality, it’s a symptom of a much deeper issue that I call destructive mental programs.

For example, when I started my first YouTube channel, I had a panic fear of speaking on camera. That made me do everything else on my daily list just to make sure that I’d postpone the time when I needed to start recording myself. I would even delay doing previous tasks or would choose easier tasks or other tasks that I feel more comfortable doing before I would get to actual filming.

When I started observing what was standing behind this, I noticed the destructive mental program: fear to be seen. It made me imagine that viewers of my videos would think that I’m not professional enough and my videos suck. I was just scared to film content. When I changed this mental program, filming myself became much easier for me.

The Easiest and Hardest Tool for Inner Conflict Resolution

There are different instruments on how to work with mental programs and how to change destructive mental programs. If you feel the need for one-on-one guidance working on those programs that reduce your productivity, follow this [link](https://brainheartway.com//remove-harmful-mental-programs) to explore how I can help.

Now, I will give you the easiest and at the same time the hardest exercise because it requires willpower. Willpower is defined as the mental power to resist undesirable inner impulses. In our case, we need to exercise willpower to apply a new reaction to an old trigger situation.

Here is a simple and at the same time very hard Recipe on how to increase your daily productivity.

Every time you feel like you want to sabotage your work plan, you’ve got to do this:

Step 1: Observe WHY You’re Avoiding This Work

Be as sincere with yourself as possible, because we love bullshitting ourselves about ourselves. Set an intention for that one or two minutes to be as sincere with yourself as possible about why you’re avoiding this work.

For example, I need to prepare data for my tax accountant, but I feel that I can wait. Therefore, I’m thinking about postponing execution till later, which usually becomes the last moment before the deadline. The name or the address of that destructive mental program is laziness.

At this moment, you can make a choice. You can let this program play you, or move to the next step.

Step 2: Use Your Willpower and Take Micro-Action

Use your willpower to actually sit down at your PC, open the banking website, go to the statements page, and open the first statement that you need to copy for a tax accountant.

After a minute or two, you will be surprised that inner resistance vanished. This happened because you consciously changed your reaction to a trigger situation. Now the whole universe is helping you.

Repeat this simple step with every task for the next six months. You will notice a magic change. You will start getting twice more things done, and you will still have double energy for other fun things. This is because now you’re not wasting your energy on that inner resistance to progress, which is created by that mental program. Destructive mental programs literally drink your life juice or energy that was meant to do whatever you’re avoiding to do right now.

From now on, every time you observe your unwillingness to do something that is really important to you, ask yourself: **”Who is the boss here? That mental program or ME?”**
